And I mean the kind you sit on!
Wandering about Hong Kong this week on my business trip, I start to notice that low stools are tucked away in all over the place and sometimes can be seen in odd places.

Take this cross junction along Mody Road (off Nathan Road). Last night, an old woman on a low foot stool was eating dessert from a tin, pretty much oblivious to the foot and vehicular traffic around here. The little island she lays claim to isn't the safest place to have your dinner, but she didn't seem to mind.
An hour later, she's gone but left her little wooden stool behind. It wasn't there this morning when I was walking past the same junction.
(Edit: well this evening, she was back, to tie some padding on stool. Then she crossed the street and stood at the corner facing the stool... and just loitered there...)
